I’m a queer, neurodivergent single mom who nerds out on fonts, color therapy and all things design! I’m the designer behind Creative Kate Designs, and I specialize in creating high‑end, fully custom websites for therapists and coaches who want more than a template and more than “just pretty.”

With over a decade of experience, I blend intentional design, conversion strategy, and SEO‑friendly foundations - No templates. No copy‑paste layouts. Every website I design is built from the ground up — just like your practice.

My business operates from an anti-racist + social justice perspective meaning that I work hard to find images that represent you and your ideal client, which includes BIPOC and LGBTQ+. How it started…

I designed my first website back in 2007 on a whim. I had a home organizing business at the time and the company I got my business cards from had setup one of the first ever website builders and so I decided why not? I immediately fell in love with the process. Sure, back then designing websites was clunky and most websites were quite horrible looking, but I knew somewhere deep inside that this is what I wanted to do. I absolutely loved every minute of it!

Fast forward to 2011 I started my own business for online marketing and virtual assistance really out of necessity. I was pregnant with my daughter at the time and I wanted to be able to stay home with her and still make a living. I learned all the in’s and out’s and do’s and don’ts of marketing and website design and how to help my clients show up online and get clients.

I understand the vulnerability that comes with putting your work online — especially when trust matters. My process is collaborative, supportive, and grounded, so you never feel rushed, talked over, or boxed into something that doesn’t fit.
